Every experience in Botswana, one tap away

TicketingPad is where you find what is on near you, get your ticket on your phone, and walk straight in with a scan. Built in Botswana, for the phones people actually carry.

This is early access. The app is real and everything in it works — but paid ticketing is still being switched on, so no money changes hands yet.

About

What is TicketingPad?

TicketingPad is one place for everything happening around you — concerts, sports, markets, shows — and one way to get into all of it. You find the event, you take the ticket, and the ticket is already on your phone when you arrive.

Getting into an event here should take seconds, not an afternoon. No printing. No standing at a desk while somebody looks for your name. No screenshot of an email you cannot find. Your ticket is a code the door scans, and you are in.

On the other side, anyone running an event gets a proper set of tools: publish a listing, watch the sales come in, message everybody holding a ticket, and scan people through the gate with the same app. Nobody gets to sell here without being checked first — identification, reviewed by a person, before a single ticket goes up.

It is being built in Botswana, for Botswana, and it is designed around the phones and the data bundles people really have. Organisers can start here.

Features

Why should you choose TicketingPad?

Six things we decided were worth getting right before anything else.

Everything that is on, in one place

Concerts, sports, markets and shows from across Botswana in one list you can actually scroll. Filter by your town, or just see what is happening near you tonight.

Your ticket lives on your phone

No printing, no queue at a desk, no email to dig out. Your ticket is a code in the app, and the door scans it in about a second.

Organisers are checked first

Nobody can sell a ticket here until they have sent identification and a real person has approved it. That check is the whole point of us.

See exactly where it is

Listings drop a pin on the map, so a venue name means something even if you have never been. Tap it and your phone takes you there.

Never miss the one you wanted

Save what you like and get a reminder before it starts. If an organiser moves the time or the place, you hear about it straight away.

Built for the phone you have

Light, quick and careful with your data. It is made for mid-range Android, and it never downloads anything you did not ask it to.

Trust

Is TicketingPad safe?

Buying a ticket means trusting a stranger with your money and your evening. Here is exactly what we do about that, in plain terms.

  • Nobody sells until we know who they areEvery organiser sends identity documents and waits for an administrator to approve them. Those documents are stored apart from everything else and only two people can open one: the admin reviewing it, and the person who sent it.
  • Your ticket is yoursIt carries your name, and the code changes if you pass it to somebody else. A screenshot of an old code does not get anyone through the door.
  • Your card details will never sit on our serversWhen paid ticketing switches on, card details go straight to the payment company and never touch TicketingPad. Today no payment is taken at all.
  • Lock the app with your fingerprintYour tickets, your account and your history can sit behind the same fingerprint or face check your phone already uses.

All of it is written out properly in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. They are short and in ordinary language, and they are worth two minutes before you sign up anywhere.
